Welcome to the Southeastern Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury
System (SEMTBIS) website. We are a traumatic brain injury research program funded through the National
Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), U.S. Department of
Education.
SEMTBIS is housed at the Rehabilitation Institute of
Michigan (RIM) in Detroit, Michigan. RIM is part of the Detroit Medical
Center (DMC) which is a network of non-profit academic health care facilities
that are associated
with Wayne State University (WSU).
