Following Dr. Gruber’s arrival in July 2001, a number of people have been recruited to the transplant program: a second and third transplant nephrologist; a transplant pathologist; several pre- and post-transplant coordinators; full-time and half-time transplant social workers; a full-time clinical transplant pharmacist; a  Director and Associate Director of the DMC Histocompatibility and Tissue Typing Laboratory; a Unit Manager and Clinical Manager for the transplant floor, 10 Webber South; a full-time transplant administrator, transplant financial coordinator, and transplant assistant; and a medical office assistant in the transplant clinic.
