Although endowed positions normally bear the name of one major donor, it is recognized that their establishment often depends on the generosity of many individuals making contributions at varying levels. Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Detroit Medical Center are pleased to acknowledge the generosity of community members toward establishment of the endowed positions in Transplant Surgery at different levels, and recognition is designed to honor the donor and spark philanthropy from others in the community. In addition to use of full name to identify the endowed professorship or chair, recognition may also include the following, depending on the level of contribution:
Press releases and/or feature stories
Plaques or signage placed on the transplant floor (10 Webber South) or Transplant Surgery Center at Harper University Hospital
Use of full name to identify kidney, pancreas, and future clinical transplant programs on letterhead and business cards
Use of full name to identify kidney, pancreas, and future clinical transplant programs in press releases and print pieces
Reception to announce major gift philanthropy
