from Graceland College. She has been at Harper University Hospital since 1982,
and holds certification in the specialty of nephrology and medical-surgical
nursing.
She is a member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the
International Transplant Nurses Society, the Gift of Life-Michigan and the
National Kidney Foundation. American Board for Transplant Certification
was achieved by Ms. Longton in 2006.
