 Dr. Gilmer-Hill is board certified in Neurological Surgery and she sub-specializes in Pediatric Neurosurgery. She has a special interest in hydrocephalus, neuro-oncology, and craniofacial reconstruction. She also specializes in adult and pediatric peripheral nerve surgery.
Dr. Gilmer-Hill is a member of many societies, including the American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Wayne State Medical Society, National Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Society for Neuro-Oncology, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Women in Neurosurgery, Detroit Medical Society and the Hydrocephalus Association. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
