Kenneth F. Casey, M.D.
Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery

Dr.Casey is a board certified neurosurgeon with special interest in trigeminal neuralgia, minimally invasive spinal procedures and trauma care. He has performed thousands of microvascular decompression procedures and related face pain procedures.

A researcher as well as a clinician, he has been involved in grant- and industry-funded research to study innovative neurosurgical techniques, including spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of refractory angina, microvascular decompression for treatment of type 2 diabetes, and motor cortex stimulation for face pain.

Dr. Casey serves as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is a member of numerous medical societies and serves on the medical board of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association and the Hemifacial Spasm Association. He is a frequent lecturer on neurosurgical topics and has authored and co-authored dozens of books, book chapters, journal articles, and abstracts.
